Why CollabIndex exists

Fashion collaborations have become the most-watched, least-documented phenomenon in streetwear and luxury. Brands drop. Hype builds. Resale charts spike. And yet - no one had built a serious index.

Hypebeast reports the news. Lyst tracks resale. StockX shows the after-market. But none of them treated collaborations as a structured category worth ranking, contextualizing, and building authority around.

That's what CollabIndex is. A premium editorial index of fashion collaborations, ranked by structured search data, written with the voice of someone who's been in the room.

From data to the inside of the industry

Prior to founding CollabIndex, I served as Head of Search (SEO) at Mansion Group in Gibraltar - working at the intersection of search behavior, keyword research, and consumer attention modeling at international scale. That technical foundation is part of why CINDEX rankings are built the way they are: on real search signal, computed monthly, structured rather than curated.

Alongside the data side, I've spent years inside the fashion and luxury streetwear ecosystem. I attend brand launches and collab events across London, Madrid, Paris, and New York - not as a journalist parachuting in, but as someone embedded in the culture.

What I cover, I've usually seen in person. What I haven't, I'm honest about. That distinction is the whole point.

Every page on CollabIndex is held to a single standard: would I read this as a reader, not as the writer? If the answer is no, we rewrite.

That means short sentences. Specific details. Real first-hand context when I have it. Editorial silence when I don't. We don't manufacture authority - we earn it, brand by brand, drop by drop.
